3D Graphics

Since 1992, when Wolfenstein 3D was published, the public has had a new level of expectations for video games. Two dimensional games are no longer good enough. It is now expected that a game looks 3d.

There are many types of 3D graphic engines. Following are a selection of these.

  1. Wireframe Engine
  2. Raycasting Engine
  3. Raytracing Engine
  4. Voxel Engine
  5. Polygon Engine
  6. Isometric Engine
