Automatic Error Correction
Automatic Error Correction
A system used for a communication link in which data is transmitted in batches along with checking codes. At the receiving end the checking codes are generated again from the data amd if they do not agree with the transmitted checking code the transmitter is requested ti re-send the data. This will be repeated until the data is perfect or until there have been several consecutive failures.
