Blogs date all the way back to Tim Berners-Lee, who maintained a web page detailing the latest happenings with the W3 project. These days there are hundreds of thousands of blogs in existence, some on personal websites, and others hosted with blogging services, such as Blogger.Com.
A blog will generally have entries sorted chronologically, with the latest entry being shown first. Some blogs additionally allow comments to be made on the entries by people reading the blog.
