The help format recently introduced by Microsoft that uses a binary, compiled version of a HTML document with built in indexing and keyword searching.

Although it's a very good format for on-line documentation, there are currently no readers available for Unix/Linux platforms, which makes it useful only on Windows-based platforms.

However, there are a lot of usefull CHM documents describing various Unix commands available at:
