long is a data type (and thus a keyword) that can contain whole numbers, longer whole numbers (in combination with int or longer broken numbers in combination with double.The range of each of these datatypes can be found at compile time with std::numeric_limits.
long myLong = 12345; long int myLongInt = 1234567890; long double myLongDouble = 12345.67890;
