Decompiler

(Computer Science) Decompiler

A decompiler is any of a family of programs used to turn an executable program into source code. Because finished programs are converted into binary executables, it is harder to decompile a program than to compile one.

The opposite of decompiling is compiling, which can be done by a compiler.
