Dialog
What is a dialog?

A dialog is just a little  ?window used to communicate with the person using the computer. Examples include "Save File..." and the "About (this program)" boxes of many computer programs.

There are two types of dialogs, modal and non-modal. A modal dialog must be answered before work can continue. (Dialogs with the options OK/Cancel, for example, are typically modal).
