Electronic Design Automation. A program or set of programs used in the design of electronic schematics and printed circuit boards. This allows an operator to quickly enter and check designs before producing a prototype or production PC board. The software can be as simple or complex as needed or desired. Some systems can "wire" an entire board with little more than a completed schematic and a few parameters from the operator.
