Edit
An editor program referred to as EDIT, usually DOS based. The internal filename is called "EDIT.COM"
On Win 3.x and lower, it is found in C:\DOS; on Windows NT, it is found in C:\DOSBOOT (correct this if I'm wrong); on Win 9x and higher, it should be able to be found in C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND.
