What is Java Swing

Java Swing is often refered to Swing or JFC/Swing. Swing is actually an extension of Java AWT to provide plugable GUI components for use by developers of Java Applications. Swing is considered one of the 5 technologies that makes up Java Foundation Classes(JFC).
