Java_class
What is Java Class?
Classes represent the object oriented programming model. In Java to make a new class, one must dervie that class from an existing class. The dervied class is known as a subclass and the existing class is known as the superclass. An example:
public class Classname extends Superclass {
}
Unlike C++ every class except the root class has exactly one immediate superclass. If a class is created without specifiying a superclass the superclass of Object is assumed to be the superclass of that class.
public class Point {
float x, y;
}
is the same as
public class Point extends Object {
float x, y:
}
