Keyword

A word that 'does' something or 'already has a meaning'.

Examples are:

Keywords that indicate data types (to enable to compiler to distiniguish numbers from words and inhibit their implicit conversion)
Keywords that enable program flow like conditional loops.
Keywords that describe accessibility in classes or the inheritance between them.
