What is PersonalJava

PersonalJava came about before J2ME as a way to have java on mobile devices. Currently PersonalJava has been moved to a Profile implementaiton within the CDC portion of the J2ME Platform.

PersonalJava contains the JDK1.1.8 portions of J2SE.
