ROM Bootstrap


ROM bootstrap is different from disk bootstrap. ROM Bootstrap is called before disk bootstrap is called. The code as the name indicates resides in the ROM. It is transferred control to after the system test finishes. It deals with all the low levels of details regarding the hardware. It's main function is to load the disk bootstarp routine and transfer control to it.
