RPM
RPM - Redhat Package Manager

An RPM can be the equivlent of an .exe setup program on Windows. RPMs are straight foward to install 90% of the time. RPMFind.net is a great resource to find rpms, and RPMs aren't just used by RedHat, they are now spread through most distributions.
