SNES

SNES

Super Nintendo Entertainment system (SNES) is the popular video game console from Nintendo. It was a direct competitor to the  ?Sega Genesis system.

The CPU in the SNES was a Motorola 68K based processor. The video hardware was capable of advanced effects that were not capable on the Genesis platform, such as the "Mode 9" style effects (Rotation and scaling of sprites).

Many older titles of SNES are available on the  ?Game Boy Advance platform
