Zilog
What is Zilog?
Zilog is computer chip company that produces several microprocessors and microcontrollers. Its most famous product is the Z80.



A Short History of Zilog
Orginally formed in in 1974 by Feredirco Faggin. Becmae subisdary of Exxon in 1980 and was bought back by Zliog employees in 1989. It went public in 1991 and later reorganized via a chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2001.
