datagram
What is a Datagram?
Datagram and packets are interchangeable in the use as the term for units of data in a network. There are two components, a header area and a data area. A datagram is always considered as a self contained packet in that the header has enough information to allow the network to forward the datagram to the end destination.[Edit this page] [Page history] [What links here] [Discuss this topic] [Printer Friendly]
