Formatting Reference

The following is a quick list of the major editing tags.

[ignore]...[/ignore]      Disable reformatting
[leftbr], [rightbr]       Display [ and ], respectively
[b]...[/b]                Bold
'''...'''                 Bold
[italic]...[/italic]      Italic
''...''                   Italic
[strike]...[/strike]      Strikethrough
[sub]...[/sub]            Subscript
[sup]...[/sup]            Superscript
[tt]...[/tt]              Typewriter Text
[size=x]...[/size]        Changes font size. x is between 1 and 5
[black], [blue], [green]  Changes font colors. To stop the change,
[grey], [gray], [purple]  repeat the tag with a / before the color.
[red], [white], [yellow]  For example, [black]...[/black]
[font=fontname]...[/font] Replace "fontname" with the name of a
                          font to show your text using it. Only
                          Arial, Verdana and Courier are supported.
[center]...[/center]      Centers text in the browser window.
[space]                   Noncollapsing, nonbreaking space
= ... =                   Headers, shows in a larger (bold) font
== ... ==                 on it's own line.

[hr]                      Horizontal line, must start line with this
----                      Horizontal line, must start line with this
[pre]...[/pre]            Preformatted text
[code]...[/code]          Preformatted text, for code and lists
[[LinkName]]              Creates a link to a page called LinkName
 ?Text       Creates a link to a page called LinkName, but
                          shows Text instead. Works for pages here and
                          any other URLs.
http://www.???.com        Automatic creation of links. Provide the full
                          URL, including protocol (http://) and it will
                          be turned into a link. Supported protocols:
                          http://, https://, ftp://, news: and mailto:
[img=http://www.???.com/x.gif]  If the URL ends in gif, jpg or png then the 
                          image will be shown instead of the URL.


Allowed characters


In pagename:
A-Z, a-z, 0-9, space, and :-,.@()'_

In alternate text for links:
All English characters except for < and >.
