The term LINK has more than one meaning. These include:

- Reference to another docunent in hypertext based systems (like the World Wide Web) - Line or channel over which data is transmitted, in communications (like radio, broadcasting)

- Reference to execution of the linker (a program that combines object modules to form an executable program), in programing
