Micro controller
The micro controller can be considered to be a true computer on chip.
It consists of RAM (Random Access Memory) , ROM (Read only Memory), ?Inputs and Outputs, Internal ?Timers and Counters, Clock Circuit along with the normal contents of a microprocessor. Like the microprocessor, a also called uC (pronounced muC) it is a general purpose device but with limited functions. Examples of microcontrollers are the Intel 8051 architecture, PIC microcontrollers etc. There are also various ?types of microcontrollers.
