Now it has become essential that I must include a distinction between the new and old versions of the compiler. Hence I've added the comparision section. Sounds great Deostroll! Still, main is of return type int! You don't want the people reading this getting into the wrong practice (note: there are, tragically, a lot of books (!) doing this wrong.
